I have been a Westie for a good part of 30 years and still live locally in Te Atatu South and bring with me a passion for the community and commercial experience that will help me in the journey and challenges going forward. The future of Glendene Hub excites me and I am eager to meet and work with you to keep the Glendene Community growing and stay connected.”

Glendene Community Society Chairperson
Daniel Harrison
As the Board Chair, I’ve relished working in partnership with our skilled Board to bring about transformation in the areas of IT, HR, Communications and Marketing, maintenance of the Hub and the gardens, finance and community outreach that has seen all our hirers return and some new ones.. We are delighted to announce that fibre internet link is in place. This will allow us to turn the Hub in to a 21st century digital centre with the community at its helm. We are proud to say we are at a higher level of Hub usage now than we were prior to Covid lockdown in August 2021. The Board looks forward to continuing this positive momentum going forward with a new hub manager and volunteers.
